Meet Dr. Carli Hogan
Background
Carli Hogan grew up in the Quad Cities with her parents, twin brother, and two sisters. Her parents and both her sisters work in the dental field. Always admiring her parents and the work they did, it was no surprise she wanted to be a dentist.
“I grew up wanting to be a dentist,” Dr. Hogan said. “As I got older, I realized I loved the idea of being able to directly help people with both their health and their confidence in themselves by taking care of their smile. I strongly believe good oral health aids in obtaining good overall health. Dentistry perfectly combines my love for helping others, science, working with my hands, and healthcare.”
Treatment Philosophy
“I strive to form good relationships with my patients, to make them as comfortable as possible in my chair, and to help me better understand their needs and goals. I try to conserve the natural teeth as best as I can while still providing the patient with optimal care. I enjoy restorative dentistry and endodontics. I also believe my background working in a hospital clinic helps me to evaluate the patient as a whole as opposed to focusing only on their teeth when creating a treatment plan that works best for them. Dentistry is a field in which we are constantly learning, so continuing education is important to me. This allows me to stay up-to-date with the latest practices, materials, etc. My favorite part of dentistry is being able to help people achieve or maintain their health while making them feel confident about their smile.”
